My ask is open, let me help you.

I'm curious as to how you think the name and content of your blog is not completely disrespectful and racist. I do not understand how African Americans feel entitled to shit on white people in every single way possible and think it is right and okay. If a white girl ever said "black girls ain't shit" it would be fucking world war three. But black people can say whatever they want about white people and it's a funny joke. Please explain this to me.

Okay, I have a whole. tag. that. is. labeled on my blog: “Why white girls ain’t shit?”

In the meantime,
1) white people can’t experience racism. Race is a social construct, which has been manipulated in the way that white people benefit from race and racism (by oppression of others)
2) You’re hurt about the wrong shit. If you’re really concerned about why Black people and people of color are upset and not kissing white people’s asses, you should be hurt about WHAT has happened and is happening for people to be so angry about you. If you can’t figure that out, you’re living in a fucking dreamland, and that’s probably one of the reasons why.
3) White girls do say “black girls ain’t shit”. Everyone does. They’ve done it for a very long time. They still do. Not a single war was started over that. In fact, it’s one of the most accepted jokes I’ve ever seen about any minority or marginalized group. Don’t believe me? check out #blackgirls on twitter, see how much bullshit you pull up. However…
4) White girls ain’t shit isn’t an unwarranted attack but more of a call out and a reaction to bullshit that has been dealt with for long enough, and probably will be dealt with (on a larger scale) for a little longer.
I shouldn’t have to explain this to you. If you knew your history, your current events, and the way the society we live in works, you would already know why the name and “content” of my blog isn’t disrespectful or racist. Please grow up.

When a leader speaks…that leader dies(c)Living Coloure

But what kills me is that the same people who try to silence us on racism today, are the same people who look to JFK as an idol….

They’re so unaware, they don’t even realize what side of history they’re presently on.

I feel so extra strongly for equality tonight

Intense photos capture the true devastation in Gaza

Today marked a brief lull in the violence as Israel and Hamas agreed to a 12 hour ceasefire. A Palestinian official says more than 1,000 Palestinians have been killed since the conflict began. The break in fighting was an occasion for Gazans to survey the damage and get to banks and grocery stores.

Washington Post correspondent William Booth has been covering the new conflagration between Israel and Gaza, and his Twitter feed has the photos to prove it. Here’s a selection of the photos he took during the brief cease-fire.

there was a monarch butterfly outside with a torn wing and i thought it was dead so i went to pick it up off the ground with a flower but it began to hurriedly clutch onto it trying to drink something. it was totally trembling; it had a gash on it’s body and i knew it was dying but i couldn’t bring myself to kill it, so i googled a monarch’s favourite food and it ended up being mandarins. he literally devoured as much as he could before dying and i buried him outside my window.

It’s not always about sex, sometimes the best type of intimacy is where you just lay back, laugh together at the stupidest things, hold each other, and enjoy each others company…

I remember seeing this short film a long time ago. Basically, this little machine sees a television with a pretty doll face. She wants to be just like what she sees on t.v, and changes her appearance. The standards get higher and higher (literally), but she tries earnestly.

You can see what happens in the end. This video leaves a powerful message about how our standards of beauty are too high and soon it becomes out of reach.

As one of the comments of the video says

"She was original but she died a copy."
